First visitors!

Lynnwood Library has had its first neighborly addition: Mickey's Birthday Surprise! I'm really excited, though I'm not sure if anything was taken, which is surprising. But at least it's being used! Thank you to our first visitor!

I also wanted to highlight a book from my initial stocking: Something Bad Happened: A Kid's Guide to Coping With Events in the News. This book is suggested for ages 6-12, and written by a child psychologist. I thought this might be helpful to the children and adults in the neighborhood.

I'm resigned to a slow start, because I'm up on a steep hill that ends in a cul-de-sac, but I engaged in a little social media marketing, and maybe a tiiiiiny bit of psychological manipulation with a quote on the back, which is a chalkboard! 😂
