Big Things are coming!

Wow, guys! This is my first blog post, and the library isn't even here yet, but look at all these things I have ready to go to put in it! In addition, I have a pencil dispenser and a bookmark holder. There are solar lights and I have a hook so that those walking dogs can have a rest while they browse. I have a container for the chalk! Things are really coming along.

The material for the post is here, and some of the paint, but the rest of the paint was marked as delivered, but wasn't in the package. I've called for a replacement. I'm hoping that the paint goes farther than it looks like it will - the one can that showed up is TINY. But I'm not familiar with chalkboard paint, and finding some that was rated for exterior use was hard. We've already got stain for the inside!

I was so excited to receive my charter number to make my library official, and map it in the app. It's now listed as "pending" and will be able to go live immediately! I'm just hoping this will go over well and be appreciated. We'll see I guess!
